During the peak period of Lunar New Year, the demand for transferring money, exchanging new banknotes for gifting, shopping online and travelling increases significantly. Public Bank Vietnam (PBVN) would like to advise you to stay vigilant and proactively protect your financial information.

To ensure your safety when transferring, please note the following:

• Be cautious of suspicious link and impersonate content such as “lucky money – Tet gifts – cashback – cheap Tet flight tickets”.
• Be alert to new banknotes exchange services, advance payments request or account information disclosure.
• Exercise caution when transferring Tet money, verify the beneficiary’s information carefully before making transactions.
• Shopping safely for Tet products via official websites/ e-commerce platforms.
• Proactively withdraw cash in advance to avoid ATM congestion, cover the keypad when entering PIN/OTP codes.
• Ensure device security when travelling during Tet holiday, if any incident occurs, contact PBVN immediately for urgent account/card blocking.
