WARNING ON RISKS WHEN USING PUBLIC WI-FI

Dear Valued Customers,

Public Bank Vietnam (PBVN) would like to advise you to exercise caution when using public Wi-Fi networks at cafes, airports, shopping malls, hotels, etc. to access Internet Banking/ Mobile Banking services.

Fraudsters may take advantage of unsecured Wi-Fi networks to:

• Steal login credentials, passwords, OTP codes, and CVV codes.
• Monitor or interfere with your transactions.
• Gain authorized access to accounts and conduct fraudulent transactions.

PBVN would like to advise you:

• Do not log in to Internet Banking/ Mobile Banking while using public Wi-Fi networks.
• Do not perform financial transactions when using untrusted Wi-Fi.
• Only access banking services via personal mobile networks or trusted Wi-Fi connections.
