PBVN Charity Event 2019 " The gift of Love"

Continuing the rich corporate culture of community support, Public Bank Vietnam, on 05 November 2019, organized the 2019 Charity Event themed “The Gift of Love” for elderly people and orphaned children of the Social Welfare Center No.III of Hanoi. Senior Management of PBVN and 17 representatives from Head Office and Branches/ Transaction Bureaus in Hanoi area joined together to participate in the handing out of donations to the elderly residents and children at the Center.

The Social Welfare Center No.III of Hanoi has been established since 1992 by the Hanoi’s People Committee, located at No 3 Mieu Nha, Tay Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district of Hanoi. Since the date of establishment, the Center has been home to more than 1,000 elderly people and orphans. Currently, the Center is caring for nearly 100 aged residents and 50 orphan children.

During the visit, PBVN donated in total VND30,000,000 (equivalent to MYR 5,500), including cash and dried food, milk, diapers, books, study materials, clothing, socks and toys contributed by PBVN staff, with the hope bringing cheers and happiness to them and more importantly, letting them know that they are a prominent part of our society.

In response to PBVN’s sharing on the passion and efforts in its implementation to contribute to the development of the country in the opening speech, the Management of the Center expressed their sincere gratitude to PBVN for its kind gestures. Representatives from the elderly people also delivered their heartfelt thanks to PBVN for the thoughts as well as useful donated gifts.
