Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on his official visit to Vietnam took time to meet up with some prominent Malaysian businessmen, investors and corporate leaders with business operations in Vietnam.
All attention to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad during the dialogue session!
Organized by Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia and MATRADE Vietnam, a dialogue session with Dr Mahathir Mohamad was held on 27th August 2019. About 27 Malaysian corporate leaders from various industries in Vietnam were invited to the open dialogue including General Director of PBVN – Mr. Chee Keng Eng, where they share the working experience, operating environment and challenges of operating in a foreign country like Vietnam.

In his remarks, Dr Mahathir said that Malaysian businessmen are doing well and respected around the world. He urged and advised Malaysian businessmen and investors to be ‘clean and respected’ and understand the way of doing things in the countries where they operate, as well as the culture, rules and regulations and laws to expand business opportunities.
